BEST SHOW EVER!

For all of you that like shows such as Futurama, The Simpsons and South Park, you are going to love this. And for all of you who watch it, BUY THIS NOW! However, I would reccomend Castle seasons 1-2 that you instead buy the 1st season since it has the best episode, 'E. Peterbus Merlin seasons 1-2 on dvd Unium', where Peter succeds from the US, thus forming Petoria. The best episodes in this are on the first disc and the third has the worst, which is why FOX canceled the show. The good news is it is coming back with 35 new episodes to either FOX or Adult Swim. By the way, the bonus episode 'When You Wish Upon A Wienstien' is completely unfunny and not worth watching. If you want to sample this show, turn on Adult Swim and you can watch re-runs.
Well, this was just as good as the original- we still have the wacky situations, the odd flashbacks, the same intelligent humor, and the great characters (as well as great visuals). Not much is different between this and the other volume, besides how this is a little shorter due to its cancellation.However, if you liked the first volume or any episode you might've seen, I strongly recommend this to you- as long as you liked what you saw. It is a little edgy, but it's really clever and has pretty complex jokes and spoofs in each episode. If you've seen the Simpsons and seem to be interested in this show, think of it as maybe an improved Simpsons (I personally think Family Guy surpasses the Springfieldians myself) or the next best thing. It has even better animation, clearer voices, and is overall just more funny- it has many more moments that inspire laughter than almost any other show on TV (although South Park is also up there with it), and if you don't get all the jokes or just don't laugh much, the stories are entertaining just the Frasier 1-11 dvd seasons same.Volume 1 or 2 will do, as long as you think you know you want this...or something.

For some reason Amazon can't seem to ship this series correctly. Twice now they've only shipped me one disc (vs. the three that are supposed to be in the series). It wasn't even shrink-wrapped... very bizarre. And it was shipped from Amazon (not a Zshop, etc.) along with a brand-new CD that arrived fine. Really disappointed.
You can read any number of glowing reviews to find out how I feel about this DVD, after all, Family Bones season set 1-5 Guy is a fantastic show, and I am glad to have my paltry 3 seasons Battlestar Galactica series dvd 1-4 preserved on DVD. Fox has given us a DVD thats a little light on the extra features, but what is there is fun. My great dispair that renders a 4 star rating is the fact that during one of the commentaries they congratulate people who buy the dvd's and can get through 50 of them. Unless they are hidden away on the disc somewhere, I want all of the commentaries that were recorded for the DVD. Often while watching an episode, I wonder what the writers have to say about a moment and I check to see if the commentary is offered for that episode, only to find Skins seasons boxset 1-4 that it isn't. Now I find that a commentary was recorded for the episode, but not included on the DVD. Why waste the time of the actors/writers/producers?Instead, we only have 14 to listen to, and if Fox was going to omit most of the commentaries, they should have been more judicious about which ones to cut. I admit I would have been upset not to have a commentary for When You Wish Upon a Weinstein, but I now know Skins seasons 1-4 box set I would have rather had a commentary for a different episode. Few insights were given, just one writer's ranting and repition of the same gripe. I sympathized the first time he mentioned it, the 7th time, however, made me want to shove a pencil in my ear.All this to say, purchase the DVD. The show itself is great. However, the extra features aren't quite what they could be, namely the commentaries (which, for whats there, are fun for the most part).
BEST DVD EVER! I have seen all the episodes from seasons 3 and 4 on Fox, and they are pants-pissing-funny. I own Volume 1 on DVD, and it is the best DVD ever. Volume 2 can only get better, I'm getting it on Sept. 9, and everyone should to. Maybe It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia season 1-5 than Fox will put it back on the air.
I wonder if getting cancelled was the best thing that could have happened to Criminal Minds complete series dvd box set the Family Guy, Fox's brilliant animated series. The fact is that the Family Guy wasn't cancelled for lack of interest or ratings problems - buy Angel cheap it was cancelled for being too edgy and the humor maybe too (gulp) sophisticated for the average television viewer tuning in to watch two House MD dvd collection 1-6 strangers get married or to see a person eat a bug.You will find esoteric references to popular 70's and 80's television commercials and sitcoms (the Kool Aid guy busting through the wall is my personal favorite) as well as irreverent digs on everyone from the Make a Wish Foundation to the Pope.If you've seen the show or even just heard about it, buy both volumes. You'll get addicted and annoy your friends and The Closer dvd box set 1-5 family by trying to reenact the plotlines while doing a poor New Englander dialect. If you're an ardent fan, then definitely buy it. Several episodes have commentaries by Seth Macfarlane, Seth Green, and various writers giving insight into the show on every level. This is easily my favorite cartoon of all time. It's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles box set 1-2 collection probably the funniest show I've ever seen. I've seen each episode several times, but I still laugh constantly when I see one. The humor is both stupid, and high brow. There are a couple of jokes that are made that I still don't get, and I'm fairly well educated. It's an amazing, hillarious series though, and you should definately check it out. A few things to note about this series is that season 4 is in the Criminal Minds season dvd 1-5 works and will begin to air in May 2005! This marks the first time in history that a cancelled TV series has been ressurected by phenominal DVD sales. This is a testiment to how great this show really is. Anyway, do yourself a favor and pick it up. It's really worth every last penny.
Family Guy, Vol.2 is a must own for any Family Guy fan. Season 3 was just as funny, if not funnier, as the first 2 seasons, and this set looks even better than the first. While watching the first set, you could see the picture flicker and jump around every once and a Nip Tuck set dvd 1-6 while, but the picture on Vol. 2 is crystal clear. The extras are great - watching the pilot pitch was both interesting and funny. As I said before, every fan must own this wonderful set.
family guy 3rd volume rocks. It's not like any other show on the tube right now. The jokes are as fresh as ever, and the characters just get funnier in this series. Family guy, you have got 2 thumbs up, and a five star rating from kevin pomeroy of midvale utah. I just recently bought this DVD and i have to say it is awsome. Every fan of the show has to own this DVD, and if they dont they're freakin nuts. The special features are great and the episodes(22 to be exact) are even better. I hope fox reconsiders putting family guy back on the air with new episodes, because it is the funniest show i have ever seen. Stewie for govenor!!!!

If you are intelligent, you will positively find this show to be one of the most hilarious things you have ever seen. Everyone I show this to agrees (at least those with XY chromosomes). If you have not witnessed this show yet, don't be put off by the fact that it is a cartoon. It is quite simply, one of the sharpest, wittiest, funniest productions I have ever seen. Seth MacFarlane Charmed dvd set 1-8 is obviously a genius, and wise beyond his years. I mean his vast wealth of cultural knowledge is unbelievable... Witticisms abound; everyone from Doystoevsky(sic), Star Trek The Original box set 1-3 season Hitler, the Kool-Aid man, Lost In Space, Broadway musicals, Jesus, and Chrales Manson, are incorporated into these episodes in a brilliant manner. If this show does not make you laugh, you are obviously a moron. I believe as humans, it is our duty to support a genius like Seth. I mean he is such a genius. In addition to doing the voices for Brian, Peter, Stewie, and most of the extras, he writes all of these razor sharp episodes. Your support of this series thus far has not Gossip Girl boxset series been for naught- He recently recieved the go ahead to commence with 35 new episodes. Hooray! I can't Buffy the Vampire Slayer boxset 1-7 season wait. Buy this now, you will not be dissapointed
It's a shame such a good show was cancelled. Seth MacFarlane is a genious, and this is a highly underrated show. It's got to be the funniest Animated Series ever made.
I just can't get enough of FOX's classic comedies (Married..with Children, Malcolm in the Middle, Arrested Development, etc.) and Family Guy ranks with some of the finest. Its over-the-top humor gets me every time; it's just dumb Rome dvd complete and unsophisticated, and I like that during the nine o'clock hour. Get this DVD set, you'll laugh so hard that you might just have a heart attack.
Yes, with Family Guy on the Adult Swim schedule for some time now and the ensuing firework ratings, Fox realized its stupid mistake and will be returning it soon. But, really, it shouldn't have cancelled it in the first place. Fox is already a Castle 1-2 complete set network with dull, listless shows (uh, e.g. THAT 70'S SHOW!!) and Seth MacFarlane comes along and creates a jewel for them to only disregard because of fear and public pressure. Nice.The 3rd season is even a more polished specimen than the first and second. Once more, we return to Quahog, Rhode Island to meet with the typical dysfunctional family on the block--reminiscent of The Simpsons but better. Peter Griffin, the man of the house and unofficial village idiot; his wife Lois, who gave up a family fortune to marry this fellow (what a woman will do for cheap Merlin dvd a man); festively plump Chris, who is just crying out for meds but has a gift for art; daughter Meg, the insecure teenage girl who wants nothing more than to fit into the Weeds season 1-5 collection popular clique at school; Brian, the family dog with a CSI:Miami boxset 1-8 seasons dry wit and admiration for culture; and of course, the Antichrist himself, baby Stewie, who entered the world with a festering hate for Lois ("Damn you, woman!") and a desire to take over the world. Stewie may be the best character on the whole show but this doesn't bring down the rest of colorful characters.No episode is like the other; everything you ever heard of is in this show. It doesn't necessarily go for cheap laughs, though there are few exceptions. Full of witty repertoire, pop culture pot shots, political and historical satire, and just plain stupid humor, Family Guy is nothing short of brilliant and well-thought out. The main thing to remember is the aim of this show is to make you laugh, its COMEDY, its SATIRE. If you get offended, if you think its Castle complete 1-2 collection stupid or trash, you're basically an idiot and close-minded who needs to get a reality check because you must live in some shut-up world to not see that the world is full of Sanctuary 1-2 dvd boxset mishaps, absurdities, blockheads, and disasters: You might as well laugh at them.
